The “Gran Chaco Americano” is the second largest forested area in South America, after the Amazon. The Paraguayan part of the Chaco is the the area with the higher deforestation rate in the world.
Following everyday life of life of Enxet, Enlhet, Sanapana, Nivacle and Ayoreo indigenous communities, we get to know their actual relationship with water, woods, land and the others communities who lives in the region.
Chaco-Py.com it’s the first web documentary produced in Paraguay and it is one of the most complete audiovisual archive on the indigenous people of the Paraguayan Chaco. The web documentary is accompanied by an interactive exhibition presented in Asuncion, Paraguay and traveling to Buenos Aires, Argentina.
