Knowledge and tasks is an interactive documentary about two traditional trades that are part of the intangible cultural heritage of northeastern Colombia: the craftsmanship of stone carving and the craftsmanship of weaving in the fique plant (agave). The fragmentation of the audiovisual discourse, the polyphony of the voices of the master craftsmen and the contrast of their histories,to make evident the validity of this knowledge inherited through generations. The documentary promotes the preservation of intangible heritage, but the audiovisual story also highlights the risk that these two craft practices represent for the preservation of the environment and for the health of the craftsmen themselves
